Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know about buying and selling on BizyMart.

How does buying a business on BizyMart work?
Browse listings, ask the seller questions, and make an offer. Once the seller accepts, your payment is held in escrow while the business is transferred. Funds are only released when you confirm the handover is complete.
What is escrow and why does it matter?
Escrow means BizyMart holds the buyer's payment until the transfer is finished. The seller ships the assets knowing the money is secured; the buyer pays knowing they can dispute if something goes wrong.
What fees does BizyMart charge?
Listing is free. When a sale completes, a success fee is deducted from the seller's payout based on the sale price tier. Pro subscribers get a discounted rate.
What is the difference between a business and an idea listing?
Business listings are operating businesses with revenue and assets. Idea listings are validated business plans and playbooks — you buy the plan, not an operating company.
What happens if there is a problem with my order?
Open a dispute from the order page before the escrow is released. Our staff reviews the evidence from both sides and can refund the buyer or release funds to the seller.
How do sellers get paid?
After the buyer confirms the transfer, the escrow is released and a payout is generated for the seller (payments are currently simulated in this demo environment).
